 Weir Bank Estate hosts a wide range of occasions — weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, team gatherings, seasonal parties and ticketed public events. Our 16 private acres on the Thames at Bray-on-Thames provide a flexible and distinctive setting for almost any occasion, from intimate gatherings of 20 guests to large-scale celebrations of 200 and above. 

 Yes. For weddings, corporate events and private celebrations and more, the estate is available on an exclusive hire basis — giving your event complete privacy across the grounds, marquee, outdoor spaces and private jetty. Exclusive hire means the estate is entirely yours for the duration of your event, with no other bookings sharing the site. 

 Yes. Weir Bank Estate holds a full civil ceremony licence for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. We work closely with registrars from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to ensure your ceremony is both beautiful and fully compliant. 

 Call or email us directly and we will check availability for your preferred date. We can hold a date for a limited period, but a deposit is required to confirm your booking. We recommend getting in touch as early as possible — popular dates, particularly in summer, are reserved well in advance. 

 Weir Bank Estate works in partnership with Dominic Chapman — an award-winning British chef whose career includes The Fat Duck, The Hind's Head and a Michelin-starred tenure at The Royal Oak Paley Street. Dom and his team design and deliver bespoke menus for every event, from elegant multi-course dining and champagne receptions to relaxed sharing feasts and corporate hospitality, all using exceptional local and seasonal ingredients. We are also open to consideration of alternative suppliers and will be happy to discuss your requirements or ideas.

Our preferred approach is to work with our hand-picked selection of trusted local partners — florists, photographers, musicians, AV and production specialists, transport and styling teams — who know the estate well, understand how we work, and deliver consistently exceptional results. We recommend them because they make a genuine difference to the quality and smoothness of every event.

That said, we understand that every event is different and we are always happy to discuss your specific needs. If you have existing relationships with suppliers or particular requirements in mind, we will work with you to find the best solution for your event.

 Yes. Alongside our purpose-built on-site marquee, the estate's 16 private acres accommodate a range of alternative structures — tipi, yurt, sperry tent or bespoke marquee — for events requiring a different aesthetic, greater capacity or a more unusual setting. For corporate events, the grounds can also be configured for outdoor activities, team experiences and branded installations. We are happy to advise on the options for your specific event.
